I'm not the one bitching about your salary. The FCPS loses teachers because they payer lower than adjacent counties. The FCPS was once regarded one of the greatest school districts - and sadly, they're starting to fall behind.

With this year's budget, the FCPS is seeking additional funding. For what? The FCPS could easily get rid of internal waste (non-productive teachers) which might amount to 1/5th of the staff. Take the money from those cuts and give the productive ones a 10% raise. They could also take a smaller amount of funding from the taxpayers for this upcoming fiscal year. Everyone would be happy except for 1/5th of the staff that lost their jobs. But hey, they were not productive enough to deserve what they made, so it's their loss.
